Founders
Buster & Nik Johnson
BTA Philly was founded by Buster and Nik Johnson —two Philly originals with a vision to shake up the wrestling scene.
Nik is a multidisciplinary creative and strategist with a background in branding, content production, and marketing for major sports and lifestyle brands like Adidas and James Harden. Buster is a longtime voice in the city’s culture, known for his work on Q102 Philly and his deep ties to the local music, nightlife, and entertainment scene.
Together, they built BTA Philly to be more than just a wrestling promotion. It’s a platform for community, creativity, and talent development. From throwing high-energy events to collaborating with wrestlers and content creators and helping them with branding, marketing, merch, plus bookings—BTA is here to build the next generation of stars out of Philly
